Emily Anderson is an award-winning filmmaker who started directing videos at art school, where she was artist-in-residence for the Scottish Claymores, an NFL team based in Glasgow.

As Ogilvy NY’s first female in-house director, she spent eight years writing, producing, and directing documentaries, collaborating with brands that sent her all over the world. When interviewing a Russian Oligarch whose bodyguard stood behind her with a gun, she decided to get into comedy.

Emily’s infectious personality, comedic timing, and passion for real people stories, has led to collaborations with major global clients. Her commercial and personal work has garnered nominations and awards, including winning the ‘Next Exposure Grant’ at the Hamptons International Film Festival and being a SHOOT ‘New Director to Watch’ for her big wave surf film.
