The DRIVE4COPD campaign won PR Weeks Healthcare Campaign of the Year award. Yippee! As I blog my little moment of glory, I’m sitting next to the guy who just won the Titanium Award at Cannes for his Ikea campaign. He wins one of advertisings highest awards and this is the highlight of my career. Boehringer Ingelheim's integrated campaign to address chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) coupled sports and entertainment with a preventative health message.The pharmaceutical company worked with Biosector 2 to develop the "DRIVE4COPD" campaign, which aims to raise awareness about COPD with people aged 35 years old and above - many of whom are Baby Boomers and current or former smokers.
